Mammal is a large-scale soft sculpture created for the children’s space SAVEC (Studio of Arts and Vertical Education Concepts). Its undefined organic form, covered in long artificial fur, does not represent any specific animal species, but evokes the body of a large, friendly creature. The object functions simultaneously as a sculpture, a climbing structure, and a place to rest. Its form is experienced not only through sight, but above all through physical contact. Children can climb on it, sit on it, hide inside it, and gradually interpret its form for themselves. The title Mammal thus connects the character of the object with the name of the space for which it was created.
