Painting on jungle, 2 x 3 x 4 m, burnt lime
Mae Sai, Thailand
The jungle as a structural canvas. By picking and highlighting morphological and ornamental structures hidden in the tangle of objects arranged in space in front of one another, I can project into it a new abstracting but perhaps also meaningful imagination with illusionary visions and spatial play. That is, at least, my own theoretical idea – here, however, it is merely a work in progress, because rain came and washed away my painting before it was finished.
