Cala Gonone, Sardinia

Nostalgia for times past when we were children and would build bunkers in all kinds of places, or made sandcastles at the seaside, decorated with shells and colourful little buckets and shovels. Nostalgia for carelessness, joy from play, and excitement from exploring inaccessible places. Nostalgia for spontaneity, pure honesty, and fantasy, but also adventure during which we came to know the world. The scrummage of colourful inflatable balls contrasting with the hard magnitude of the coastal cliffs gives off the feeling as if a group of kids had just left it after a whole day spent playing at the beach. A huge boulder in the shape of a car on inflatable wheels as a nonsensical funfair attraction.
